As with traditional batik using resist and paint on fabric, Liz will teach you this exciting process using paraffin wax and watercolors on rice paper. In this class Liz presents the techniques in easily understandable steps as well as providing written instructions, photographs, and worksheets. Supplies you will need to create your own painting include a wax heating container such as a fry pan with which you can regulate heat, paraffin wax, rice paper, watercolors, and a desire to learn and experiment.
